How to play Orvask

Your objective

Connect every numbered base into one network at the displayed minimum energy. Shared roads count once. Unmarked roads cost one energy; amber numbers show other costs. Every valid minimum network is accepted.

Controls

A small green dot above a building confirms that the straight road behind it is built.

Rules on later maps

Red barriers block roads or junctions. Matching portals are permanently connected for free. Each matching gate letter allows at most one of its two roads. Blue 2 junctions accept at most two roads. Some hexagons contain six spokes meeting at an inner junction.

Saving and accounts

Guests save on the current browser. A private, server-issued recovery key can reconnect the same unclaimed guest when its cookie is lost. It expires after 180 inactive days and stops working when the guest becomes or joins an account. If the key is unavailable, Orvask preserves the device copy and asks how to continue instead of silently starting again. Clearing browser data or using private browsing can remove that save. Sign in with Google to preserve account progress across browsers and devices. Device backups in Settings restore unfinished puzzles only to their original authenticated identity; they contain no login keys and cannot create completed levels or streaks. Google verification opens a username form. A new account is created and guest progress is transferred only after a valid, available username is confirmed. Until then, you can cancel and continue as a guest. Existing accounts sign in directly. Signing out starts a separate guest; it does not duplicate account progress.

If two devices have different unfinished puzzles, the Account menu asks which to continue. Export the local copy first if you want both. If the server is unavailable, keep playing in the loaded page; completions wait for verification. Opening a fresh game still requires an internet connection. An installed app shows a reconnect screen when offline; a game already loaded continues to save locally.

Install Orvask

Use Install Orvask in the game to add it to your home screen or app launcher. The button hides inside the installed app and where the browser can confirm that it is installed. Other browsers show manual installation instructions. The app supports both orientations. Keep one game window open at a time.

Some browsers keep installed-app storage separate. Sign in and sync first, especially on Apple devices. A guest backup alone cannot transfer its identity to separate app storage. Signing in with the same Google account restores account progress. The installed app needs a connection for a fresh launch.

Streaks and participation

Complete a new verified level on a UTC day to add to your streak. A whole missed day resets the current streak, not your best. Offline activity receives the server's acceptance date. Replays and imported history do not create public participation. Daily periods begin at 00:00 UTC, weeks on Monday, and months on their first day. Equal totals share a position. The table shows 100 players and your own position when eligible.

Troubleshooting

If a save cannot sync, keep the page open, export your device save and retry. A blocked popup is not needed for Google sign-in; it uses a normal page redirect. Device storage must be available to preserve an unfinished puzzle through sign-in or an update.

If a level cannot be verified, do not clear browser data. Export the save and contact support with the campaign, level, app version and error request ID. Never send your Google password or login tokens.
